The Plenum of the Municipal Corporation has approved this morning, with votes against municipal groups PSOE and IU-LV, the budgets of the City of Murcia for 2011, amounting to 511.7 million euros, including autonomous agencies and municipal enterprises, representing a decrease of 31.9 million euros compared to 2010.
During his speech, the Deputy Mayor for Economic and Financial Affairs, Joaquin Moya-Angeler, that this is a constructive budget, solidarity and responsibility that is geared primarily towards economic recovery and social rebalancing, consolidating the achievements of recent years.
"The City Council faces a lack of commitment by the PSOE government with the municipalities to ensure the levels of social protection to the most vulnerable population, hence do not increase local taxes, while ensuring the social and productive investment as an effective way of creating jobs and promoting economic activity and generating jobs. "
Moya-Angeler also said the 2011 budget essential to ensure the gains achieved Murcia during the PP government, ensuring the normal development of Murcia, Spain's seventh largest city, with a territorial extension and population centers most important our country.

Investment
