The Children and Cadets Club Ciudad de Murcia, among the best in Spain (08/02/2011)

The Center for Modernization of Odon 'Judo met this past weekend over 1000 judokas of Child and Cadet categories of Spain, Portugal, France and Andorra, to participate in the Cup of Spain's most prestigious national calendar.

Judo Club Ciudad de Murcia came with 10 judoka (five cadets and five children) who have performed at a very high level, especially taking into account the level of the tournament.

The cadets were the first to act and although I miss the presence of Olga Jimenez (recovering from an injury), who attended, not out of place in all:

-55 Kg: Álvaro Sotorres: Álvaro play three matches and although only one win in his performance was noted improvement over previous tournaments and this makes them optimistic about their evolution.

-60 Kg: one of the most populous pesos more than 60 entries.

Pablo Guerrero was leaving one after another to his rivals to stand in the final after 6 matches.

The semi left slightly touched the left elbow of Paul and this will decline physically and mentally at a very good judoka Castilian manchego overcame him at all times.

Paul managed a very creditable Plata.

-73 Kg: Javier Fuster premiered weight and everything was expected to good results, but after winning two matches fell inexplicably in the third round when he was on track to victory.

-90 Kg: Adrian Plaza had an unfavorable draw, and that after winning his first bout, was crossed with the French champions gave no options.

To make matters worse, in the playoffs was due to face the No. 1 Spanish, from which he also lost.

+90 Kg: Marcos Cánovas was undoubtedly our best Cadet.

Not by the outcome, but the claw, the bravery and courage and put it on the mat to get that result.

Won their first match with a superb Ippon and barely break had to face the No. 1 nationally.

A point was to cause an upset, but finally met forecasts.

This defeat did not dent the morale of frameworks, but on the contrary, since in the fight for the bronze medal, and gave no option to Aragon and from the first second was for the win, which came with a impressive Ippon O Soto Gari.

A well-deserved bronze for Mark.

On Sunday, the children entered the fray, and certainly in light of the results would not be less than the cadets:

-38 Kg: William was a tough opponent in the first round and after a hard fought battle, a dubious refereeing decision at least, caused the defeat of it.

-42 Angel Luis Pina did battle won two and lost two achieved a creditable 7th place, but his performance and effort make it worthy of congratulations.

-60 Kg: Guillermo Gomez won despite some forgetfulness four bouts, which placed him in the semifinals.

The semi just lost it and was forced to a last battle for the bronze.

Quickly took the lead in this fight and the victory achieved by immobilization and Bronze.

-57 Kg: Lucia Cabero came to a discrete actions in the crowns of Spain prior.

But in Madrid came out fighting and looked effective.

Won their first two semifinal matches and fell against the favorite.

That do not intimidate lucia in the Struggle for the Broncos the victory and climb again to a podium.

-63 Kg: injuries, bad luck and some mistakes had prevented Cristina Perez to take a medal in their existing holdings.

This time would be different, because after three matches in which I make no few problems, was planted in the semifinal.

As Guille and Lucia, Cristina lost the semifinal and had to compete for the bronze.

I won this fight with little trouble and Cristina finally had the long overdue reward.

The final balance of 1 Silver and 4 Bronzes place our Club among the best in Spain and individually to our judokas among the top national ranking.
