The socialist mayor José Zapata complains that while the municipal budget expenditures are reduced only by 8 percent, the allocation to districts and districts decreased from 16.4 to 7.6 million euros, 53 percent less than in the past exercise
PSOE Councilman Jose Zapata said that "the PP will clog the budget allocation to the districts and parishes and the management approach of the citizens are very upset."
Means not otherwise Zapata-complaint that while the municipal budget spending is down only 8% allocation to the Municipal Boards of neighborhoods and districts, however, is reduced by 53% compared to 2010 from from 16.4 to 7.6 million euros, less than half that of the previous year.
From 8 to 1.8 percent
In this sense, the socialist mayor again complains that the local government fails to comply with the Rules of Participation and requiring districts to allocate to the direct management of municipal boards 8% of the budget, allocating only 7.6 million euros, a meager 1.8% of total municipal budget.
Likewise, Zapata continues, the PP fails to meet the agreements reached in the full October 2009 and June 2010 in which the local government undertook following motions submitted by the Socialist Group, to comply fully with the above regulation.
Also this year, neighborhoods and districts of the municipality will suffer the loss of investment in the light of cuts in the budget appropriated experienced more than 75% from 11 to 2.7 million euros.
Socialist Proposal
Thus, the Socialist Group will present an amendment to the municipal budget to be allocated to municipal boards of neighborhoods and districts of EUR 33.36 million or 8% of municipal expenditure budget, as set out in Rules of Engagement and districts, instead of the 7.63 million that the PP has been entered.
To this end, the Socialists propose diverting resources from unnecessary expenditure items, such as advertising, publicity, protocol, performance, banquets, among others.
