Professor of Psychology at the University of Murcia Navalón Conrad has won the "Carlos Margarit" on Labor mode Humanitarian award given by the National Federation of Patients and liver transplantation (FNETH), for their actions in promotion of donation and transplantation organs.
Navalon, which currently holds the position of director of the Publications Service of the University of Murcia (EDITUM) collaborates actively with ADEMTRA, Murcian Transplant Association, an organization that has promoted his candidacy for national awards.
Navalón Professor at the news said that if this recognition "is to encourage and promote organ donation, the name of Cieza and the University of Murcia, two areas in which I develop my business, I'll be especially happy."
The awards, which are named after the surgeon who performed the first liver transplant in Spain, will be presented Feb. 23 at the College of Physicians of Madrid to coincide with National Transplant Day.
