The City Council asked the Ministry grants for training of officials (02/02/2011)

The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has given the green light this morning to the proposed application for assistance to the Ministry of Public Administration for the Continuing Education Plan of the City Council in 2011, which are convened for the financial year 2011 to aid plans Continuing Education IV under the Agreement on Continuous Training in Public Administration.

The amount of the request will 144,278.2 euros.

In total 51 were carried out training activities, for a total of 982 participants and 1,187 hours of training.

The proposed application of the Plan, to be referred to the INAP for the grant, has been developed jointly and agreed with all three sections of the agreement signed union CCOO, UGT and CSIF.

The Deputy Mayor of Staff, Pilar Megía, says that since the training is key to improving the quality of services offered to citizens, "we hope that the Ministry is conscious of it and provide the requested amount for improving training of officials of the City of Murcia. "

Megía also stressed that the City of Murcia has been participating in the call for aid training plans INAP since its inception in 1995.

Among the training activities can be considered instruments of motivation and commitment of public employees for example: the area of e-learning, and other measures that are introduced as new this year are "Mobbing: Bullying at Work" and "Prevention and stress management with natural techniques. "

2010

The Continuing Education Plan for 2010 envisaged a total of 24 training activities, 359 participants and 626 hours of training.
