San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia has signed an agreement of collaboration with the UCLES (University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate).
The agreement will allow the UCAM preparation and review, both students at the University, as well as external candidates to obtain certificates of English KET, PET and FCE, levels equivalent to A2, B1, and B2, the Framework Common European Languages, respectively.
The agreement was signed by the president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza, and the representative of the Foundation UCLES, Desmond Nicholson.
The aim of this agreement is to establish a collaborative framework for assessment of English language students at the UCAM, and all those interested in testing.
Significantly, the UCAM review next month of May to the applicants to perform the PET, Preliminary Inglés Tes, which consists of the following categories: reading, writing, listening and speaking.
This call will join other scheduled in succession along the course.
From the Catholic University explains that the UCLES Foundation, on behalf of Cambridge ESOL is a highly regarded institution and endorsed by ALTE (Association of European Languages Examiners) to issue certificates attesting the knowledge of the English language, as established in the Common European Framework of Languages.
UCLES Foundation made available to Catholic University educational support necessary for the preparation of the aforementioned tests, in addition, through its permanent service of professional seminars, undertakes to cooperate closely on specific training for teachers of Languages educational institution.
The ceremony also attended by the Vice Chancellor for International Relations and Communication at the University, Pablo Blesa, and the director of the Official School of Languages at the UCAM, Thomas Schmidt.
