The socialist candidate for mayor of Murcia, Pedro López, inaugurated this morning the Local Electoral Strategy Seminar organized by the Socialist Group Aljufía District which includes the hamlets of Javalí New Javalí Viejo, La Ñora, Guadalupe, Rincon de Beniscornia, The Albatalía and Arboleja has met the militants in the Hall of Javalí Old City Hall.
López explained to members of the PSOE in these seven districts the main lines of his political project established by the strategic plan Murcia 100% and has influenced the discrimination suffered by residents of these districts especially in public transportation schedules that limit their travel into the city.
Moreover, the Socialist candidate, has highlighted the opportunities for this area to the west of the town which combines the potential of traditional Huerta places like The Contraparada or environment of the Wheel of The Ñora, industrial tradition (Powder Factory of Santa Barbara in Javalí Viejo) and the proximity of the campuses that make these territories in an area with great scope for economic growth.
During the day, members have held several meetings with a view to formulating proposals to be included in the electoral program with which the PSOE will go to the local elections next May.
