Next week we will meet again to select the papers
The jury will choose the craft booths will be installed in the garden of Salitre, currently located in the Paseo del Malecon.
Jurors, who have gathered this morning for the first time are:
- Chairman: Antonio Castillo, Councillor for Transport, Housing and Commerce.
- Vice President: Flora Canovas Otto, member of the Board of Governors of the College of Architects.
- Secretary: Cutillas Antonio Lozano, manager of Market Area of the City of Murcia.
- Members: Christopher Smith, Decentralization and Markets councilor of the Municipality of Murcia, Andrew Salmon Brugarolas, architect, Jose Luis Cano Clares, municipal architect of the Municipality of Murcia, and Fatima Zahif Duni, president of the Association of Artisans of Murcia.
After the constitution of the jury, we have proceeded to establish some guidelines regarding the proposals including the following:
- The reference to the various proposals will be based on numbers.
- Of the 74 proposals submitted to the Architects Association, only 67 were admitted.
The rest were excluded for not meeting the deadlines for filing date and time.
- In the event that the papers do not include the banner outside the envelope, is also permitted provided that the slogan is on the inside.
The jury will reconvene next week to continue the work of selecting the proposals.
