The Socialist Party claims that the mayor urgent meeting of the board of directors of Aguas de Murcia (13/01/2011)

Socialist spokesman Alfonso Navarro, today called on the Mayor House to urgently convene the board of directors of Aguas de Murcia, after hearing the ruling of the Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Murcia which invalidates the water rates implemented in 2006, leaving void.

In this sense, Navarro points out that the Socialists have already publicly stated that it is better to comply with that decision and not subject to appeal, at least in regard to municipal liability.

Therefore, the spokesman for the PSOE considers appropriate to consider the approval of new tariffs for 2011 which comply with the terms of that sentence.

Also considers that the water company to immediately develop a study on the impact this has on the billing statement of the receipts that users have paid Emuasa in 2006.
