Increase emergency aid to cover the basic needs of the neediest families (04/01/2011)

12,000 students have participated in one of 20 programs developed by Health

The maintenance of all programs of Health and Human Services, increased economic aid and an urgent need to incorporate new health centers and doctors' offices, are some of the projects for 2011 of the Department of Health and Human Services, which Fulgencio Cervantes directs.

Social Services will continue with all the programs run by an additional effort in actions to the family, covering their basic needs and helping them financially when necessary.

During 2010, we have implemented the three cyber classrooms of Los Dolores, San Pio X and Espinardo, and the new occupational class of El Palmar, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment.

Will continue the School Reinforcement Program on Families, held in collaboration with the University Volunteer Service at the University of Murcia and the support of the Department of Social Services.

Projects are consolidated Activities with Children and Adolescents (PAI), which last year expanded to 34 districts and districts of the municipality, mainly aimed at the occupation of leisure education and leisure.

Among the major projects this year in the area of Health is adding a health center and four medical clinics.

This is the completion of the works of Murcia Health Center-Center, funded by the Ministry of Health, completion of the work of the Medical Office and the La Albatalía Arboleja funded by the Plan E, and the Dry Sangonera and Lobosillo, co-financiers in the region.

These works represent an investment of over three million euros.

In addition, adapt the control program of drinking water to the requirements of the legislation (RD 140/2003), will increase the activities of programs to control obesity and promoting physical activity and carry out the program implementation of sensory perception of foods in all food control programs.
