The exhibition on the master Félix Martí Alpera opens the activities of the Centre for Studies in Education Report (25/11/2010)

The opening of an exhibition about the figure of the master of the early twentieth century Alpera Félix Martí has served as a public presentation of the Center for the Study of Education Report of the University of Murcia (CEME).

With this exhibition will start the activities of a center that works to preserve, study and disseminate the memory and educational and historical heritage of the Region of Murcia, in their schools and their teachers and students, with special attention to those two institutions-the former Normal School and Education Section, which led to the current Faculty of Education.

The presentation of CEME, which lead Professor Antonio Viñao was held at the Museum of the University of Murcia, in the old artillery barracks, where they expose the sample on Marti Alpera until 20 December.

Alpera Martí, who was one of the most prestigious teachers in the first third of the twentieth century, when he adapted the international educational trends of the new school to the Spanish, developed much of his career in the city of Cartagena, whose file City has been one of the main organizers of the exhibition.

They have also helped organize the Seneca Foundation, the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment and the Faculty of Education at the University of Murcia.

In the presentation ceremony and inauguration involved, among others, the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, the Vice Chancellor for Strategic Development and Training, Fernando Martin, the associate dean of the Faculty of Education, Dolores Carrillo, and the curator of the exhibition, Professor Pedro Luis Moreno.
