With the aim of further encouraging women's associations as a way participatory and active promotion of gender equality, the city of Murcia will sign an agreement of collaboration with women's centers in the municipality.

The purpose of the agreement, which has been signing since the gestation of the women's centers, establishing and maintaining adequate provision of services to the members of this association, for the optimal development and implementation of activities and programs aimed at promotion and welfare of women in the municipality of Murcia and the promotion of gender equality.

The agreement for the 72 associations "Centers for Women" of the Municipality of Murcia will benefit around 14,000 women.

The signing of collaboration agreement is established the following points:

1.

Temporary use of premises and paying the costs of water, electricity and other supplies required for proper operation.

2.

Providing supplies and instruments, use of furniture, fixtures and instrumental material.

3.

Technical assistance through the Department of Social Welfare, Gender Equality Policies and Citizenship, for activities and advice and support for the operation of the Association.

4.

Economic Development Allocation of the Annual Program of Activities.
