Enter The Second Youth Culture Festival features four days of multicultural activities, concerts and exhibitions (23/11/2010)

Workshops, concerts, exhibitions, exhibition of products of the region and theater are some of the proposals of the Department of Education and Youth, which runs María Dolores Sánchez, within the program of activities Enter Youth Culture Festival II.

This is a project of the 'Youth, Immigration and Participation', which was launched in 2008 with the objective of promoting the social integration of young immigrants in the town and prevent discriminatory and racist behavior.

During the two years leading up this project have been involved in 8,000 young people, of which about 50% are immigrants.

The Festival will be held from 24 to 28 November in various venues such as the municipal center space La Nave young (Bacons Bridge), Plaza de Europa, Belluga plaza and the plaza de Santo Domingo.

During these four days are held several workshops (cooking, dancing in the world, ethnic jewelry, African hairstyles, painting, conducting pre-Columbian masks, etc), exchange activities, popular games in the world, theater, clown, concerts and children's activities, including other things.

Enter Youth Culture combines the proposals of different groups of young people, groups and associations working in the municipality to promote intercultural dialogue, social integration and civic participation.

The main objective is to create a space for intercultural interaction and promoting youth participation meetings between young people from diverse backgrounds, facilitate the development of actions brought by citizens young and give more visibility to the actions taken by young people.

Festival activities will start tomorrow at 19.30 pm with the presentation of the programming of this project.
