Students of the School of Art show their vision of gender violence The exhibition will be open until December 2 at the Centro Municipal de El Carmen (22/11/2010)

The Council Members Maria del Carmen Pelegrin Hontoria Beatriz Fátima Barnuevo and inaugurated the exhibition of students of the School of Art, Murcia, in which show her vision of gender violence.

The exhibition, sponsored by the Department of Social Welfare and which will remain open until December 4 at the Civic Center of El Carmen, includes both photographs and t-shirts created especially for students.

Thus,

The exhibition consists of eight large photographic images arranged in 4 groups which provide significant contrasts and motivate the viewer to look different connotations:

"The image of the attacker versus the image of the woman attacked

"The physical pain versus emotional pain

"The attacks versus the possible consequences

-The election to submit the choice of change versus

This exhibition has been organized in connection with awareness activities on November 25, International Day to End Violence Against Women.

Visiting hours are Monday through Friday from 11 to 13:30 and from 17 to 20.30.
