SOME DATA ON THE PRESENCE OF WOMEN IN THE SPANISH CINEMA

Despite the lack of women in senior positions within the Spanish film industry (only 8% of films produced in our country are run by women and women's participation in script and production is not as high as 20%) There is a strong representation of female creativity, offering a different and complementary perspective of our world through his films and exemplified, among others, Juana Macías with plans for tomorrow (Best Director Award at the last Festival Málaga), three days with the family of Mar Colll (Goya for Best New Director) and The Empty Nest, by Claudia Llosa (Golden Bear Award and FIPRESCI International Critics at the Berlin Film Festival).
