The Mediterranean Youth Bureau will promote the joint delivery of master's and doctoral (19/11/2010)

The Mediterranean Office for Youth, which was presented today at the University of Murcia and brings together 16 Mediterranean countries, promote the mobility of students and joint delivery of masters and doctoral degrees.

The deputy director general of the Ministry of Education and national representative of this office, Luis Delgado, said in the filing that these masters and doctoral studies will begin to be offered next year and that these areas have been selected "as important" as agriculture, fisheries, environment, information technology and transportation.

Other areas selected for this study sets are the earth sciences, telecommunications, law, Tourism, Education and Sport.

The deadline for submission of the request to attend this first meeting will end on 12 December.

Delgado added that the programs that are selected in these international events will receive the label of excellence in the Mediterranean Office for Youth and is due to hold seven hundred scholarships will carry a financial aid and exemption from tuition fees.

"It should be noted, said Delgado, who in these Mediterranean universities is to train the best students, ie those who will be future leaders."

In the presentation ceremony, held in convalescence, the rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, stressed the importance of the study topics selected and the countries involved in the Office, which include France, Italy, Greece, Egypt, Turkey, Tunisia and Morocco.
