The city of Murcia has 49 new sports facilities by State Funds E Plan

The government delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, this morning visited the works of Cagigal sports hall to check their status.

The project is carried out with a total investment of 3 million financed entirely by the Government of Spain, by Plan E, which in turn has made possible the creation of 61 jobs in this work.

The new sports hall will Cagigal a sports deck and bleachers with enough capacity to accommodate a thousand spectators.

Furthermore, this infrastructure will permit the celebration of sporting federation multidisciplinary such as handball, football, basketball, badminton, etc.. As well as various city schools sports.

Upgrading and construction of sports facilities in Murcia

González Tovar said that the central government "has opted for grassroots sport in the Region of Murcia improving sports facilities across the region and enabling the construction of new ones as in this case."

Specifically, the municipality of Murcia has 49 new infrastructure for sports for which they have spent more than 17 million euros for this year and last, from state funds.

These projects could highlight the sporty nature of artificial turf installation in 18 municipal soccer fields, new bike lanes, one parallel to the River Segura and the other from the Regional Library to Zarandona, and improved sports facilities 15 public schools in the municipality.

Have also made 10 other actions to build new sports facilities and rehabilitation of those in the villages of El Palmar, San Jose, Los Dolores, Llano de Brujas, Bacons Bridge, Beniaján, Sangonera la Verde and Santo Angel.
