The Socialist Party calls for Berberena to explain what are the safeguards to ensure that the project of La Paz remains unchanged (05/11/2010)

Councilman Mark Ros reminds PSOE mayor of Town Planning in full, which approved a final special plan for the rehabilitation of the neighborhood, and reported that "there were no documents or guarantees to ensure the economic viability of the project if it failed the private investment "

The socialist mayor Marcos Ros is concerned because the rehabilitation of La Paz, following the information published today in a regional environment on the project developer embargoes José López Rejas, can be anything, to have embarked Ros-a-stresses neighbors in a dream that eventually can become a nightmare.

Therefore, and taking into account this information, Ros asks the mayor of Town Planning, Fernando Berberena, explain and detail where are the guarantees to confirm that the said project is moving forward and why so vigorously asserts that this fact does not affect the promoter obscures this initiative.

In this sense, the PSOE Councillor Berberena reminded that the full, 2009, which approved a final special plan for the rehabilitation of the neighborhood, and reported that he had given the green light to a project that did not provide any warranty or financial commitment if the investor failed.

Thus, Ros made a set of questions that remain unanswered.

Who will fund this activity last?

Why not demand a guarantee for the total amount of the project?

Who ensures that it will run?

What if this initiative has not completed within 10 years?, Force you to someone you run?

"Issues that seemed important and seem to worry the municipal government, as usual, continues the quiet response," denounced the mayor of the PSOE.

Finally, Ros also stresses that "the Socialists continue to advocate a new neighborhood for families of La Paz and to the citizens of Murcia, but done in a transparent manner, through a process led from the government, through a primarily management without undermining public participation of the private sector.
