THIRTY YEARS OF STUDY

A José María Sanz (Barcelona, 1960), the whole world knows him as Loquillo "or the Fool" from late 1980 to enter a recording studio to record their first album (The times are changing), which released a year then serve to put the author on the musical map, not only because his two feet high and huge quiff, but pulling these urgent songs that classic rock and roll were with the punk and contemporary rock.

But it would be their next album, Rhythm of the garage (1983), first album with his band, the Troglodytes, when Loquillo, in full explosion of Movida, would mark a full stop: It was his first and that rock boy who led a band of savages, had come to this rock to stay.

Songs like "Cadillac solo" or "Rhythm Garage, legend began to draw while fixed in the collective memory.

In subsequent years, would record Loquillo essential works as The Man Who Loved Women (1987) and Die in Spring (1988), or the essential live album Get them ... they are few and cowards!

(1989), and marked the departure of the Sabino Méndez.

But Loquillo and Troglodytes, on top of his career, the main Spanish rock band and living on the road, went ahead, with the support of talented composers like Gabriel Soper, to seek new perspectives queLoquillo literary and music, approaching the country as long as masterpieces breathe (1993).

Without doubt, the neighborhood kid "has always been proud to be, namely the Clot" had grown, I wanted to try new things, and had flirted with jazz, country and prove to other musical forms in the disks known as poets, the huge life ahead (1994) and with elegance (1998), recorded without the Troglodytes, a group that began to run small, but on stage, with one of the best live rock Iberian remained a whirlwind, a unstoppable machine.

In the new century, the Fool, a popular but sometimes uncomfortable, recorded excellent albums, but each leaves a different imprint.

He took refuge in the likes of Igor Paskual or historical producer and guitarist Jaime Stinus, who redesigned the sound of the band and works clean bill "Spanish Leather (200), Ugly, strong and formal (2001), Arts and testing (2004), Women at war (2004) "as the Troglodytes end disk directly to the luxury of Brothers (2006) and on stage at the last concert that offer Spanish tour opening for the Rolling Stones 2007.

Then, Loquillo, and without the burden of being tied to a group sound, and Stinus in production, the idea that for many is the best album ever recorded, Balmoral (2008).

Launch celebrated masterpiece critics and audiences.

Loquillo, thirty years after beginning his career as a mature and serene, is one of the greatest legends of Spanish rock, one of the most robust and emphatic.

In the journey that has taken him this far, we have seen grow as a person and as an artist every step.

Restless and accommodating foreign states has been reinvented several times, has fought hard to defend their place in the most difficult and has not dropped for a moment the bar for quality in their extensive work.
