The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, wanted to accompany the attendees at the opening of the IX Conference on Association of Universities for Senior Programs held in Murcia until next Saturday.
The event was also attended by the Chancellor of the University of Murcia, José Antonio Cobacho, the Director General of Universities and Scientific Policy of the Autonomous Community, Eduardo Osuna and the Director General of Planning and Coordination University, Juan José Moreno.
Joining them have presided over the ceremony the President of the Confederation of Associations and Federations of Students and Alumni of the University Programs for the Elderly (CAUM), Philip Martin, President of the State Association of University Programs for Seniors, Concepción Bru and the President of the University Rector Sabater, University of Murcia.
The councilman of Culture and European Programmes, Fatima Barnuevo, was also present at the inauguration.
