The UCAM held a conference on sports doping (29/10/2010)

San Antonio Catholic University (UCAM) has organized the Conference on Doping and Sport, which will take place on Nov. 2 in the temple of Jeronimos.

Among the experts participating in the conference, include the director of the National Anti-Doping Agency, Francisco Javier Martín del Burgo.

In opening the conference, which will take place at 18.00, will be speaking UCAM president, José Luis Mendoza, and the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Physical Activity and Sport (CAFD), Antonio Sánchez Pato.

According to the director's Degree CAFD and sports sociologist Antonio Sánchez Pato, with the conference "aims to raise awareness of future graduates in sports science from the dangers of doping on the athlete and the sport itself, within the framework of a agreement signed by the powers of sports science and state anti-doping agency, with a commitment to educational activities, information and awareness. During the conference will be held several panels and discussions about doping and sports, in which experts in this field.
