The police arrested the perpetrators of a violent robbery in a house in Los Garres (29/10/2010)

Agents of the Police Headquarters of Murcia belonging to the Provincial Brigade of the Judicial Police have arrested two men of Spanish nationality and 27 and 28 years old, respectively, as responsible for a robbery committed in a house in the Murcia hamlet of Los Garres.

The assault took place on the afternoon of August 5, 2010, when several people broke out in that home brandishing knives and sticks and brutally assaulted by three inmates of the same as those moments were there.

After beating and threatening for several minutes to victims, in order that these reveal the location of a safe, the robbers left the home in a hurry to board a vehicle parked nearby.

After analyzing the modus operandi and the data could be collected at the scene and after several months of investigation, officers from the Judicial Police Provincial de Murcia managed to identify two young men, residents of Sewer and Bacons Bridge respectively as responsible for the facts, so that last October 26 was carried out the arrest of both.

One, considered by researchers as the mastermind and instigator of the assault, has numerous criminal record for crimes of similar characteristics to those now under investigation.

The detainees were brought before the Magistrate's Court in Murcia Guard functions in yesterday.
