The Mayor visits the new municipal local in the service of women Abenarabi (27/10/2010)

There continues to be fulfilling the commitment to increase and improve the means and resources at the service of citizens.

Women now have a network of 74 community centers scattered throughout the neighborhoods and districts

Abenarabi center women enjoy the last few months of a new facility provided by the City.

The town hall, located on Calle Agustín Lara, has a total area of 210 square meters, which significantly improve at their disposal so far.

The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, this afternoon visited the new premises, accompanied, among others, by the Deputy Mayor for Social Welfare Policy and Equality, María del Carmen Pelegrin, the President of the Municipal Board Vistalegre-Fleet , Ana Maria Moreno, and the president of the association, Fuensanta Sevilla, and other members of the board.

The mayors Adela and Beatriz Martínez-Cache Hontoria, along with a broad representation of women's association also have gathered at the new location.

According to the program requirements outlined by the Department of Social Welfare and Promotion of Equality, the social center for women with general classroom, classroom and locker rooms, plus office and store.

The Association of the Women's Center was established in December 2005 and currently has hundreds of members.

In addition to providing local and execute the works necessary for conditioning, the center of women Abenarabi account, like other centers, a grant from the Department of Social Welfare and Promotion of Equality to launch courses workshops and cultural programs.

Among the training activities organized and funded by the Department of Social Welfare and Promotion of Equal developed this year is a course of laughter therapy and a non-sexist language, and participating in a seminar of physiotherapy.

Also, members of the women's center have municipal aid this year to develop cultural programming, which includes a workshop reading, drawing and painting and personal development and sports and leisure activities, including tai chi, Latin rhythms, Pilates and fitness training.
