The Community started the recruitment process of the improvement works on the road to the hamlet of Boatmen Murcia (23/10/2010)

The Ministry of Public Works and Land Management has begun the process of procurement of works to improve road traffic safety RM-C1, which connects the hamlet Sewer Murcian Boatmen, the town of Fuente Librilla and township Statement .

Simultaneously, the Directorate General of Highways advances in the expropriation process prior to the execution of the works and has already been published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia's announcement to lift the proceedings leading to the occupation of land.

The regional manager said that this is a project of great importance that responds to the request made by the municipalities of Murcia and Sewer. "

The work, which has a budget of close to five million euros and will begin next year, will consist of the widening of the road and the elimination of dangerous curves.

The works will be implemented from the start of the road, next to the Mediterranean motorway (A-7), near the town of Sewell, until mile eight, after crossing the canal of the Tajo-Segura, where four meters increase the breadth of the bridge beyond it.

The project also includes improvement of access roads and existing properties along the route and the remodeling of the intersection with Highway RM-C19, which allows connection to the Mediterranean motorway, which will incorporate change lanes speed.
