New blow to drug trafficking in Murcia (21/10/2010)

This is the fourth phase of an investigation conducted by the Court of Instruction Number Eight of Murcia

Agents of the Police Headquarters of Murcia belonging to the Provincial Brigade of the Judicial Police have broken up an organized group established in the provinces of Murcia and Alicante and dedicated to drug trafficking.

As a result of this operation have been arrested nine people who were accused of committing crimes against public health.

These arrests are the fourth and final phase of an operation that began in July this year and so far had resulted in a balance of nine people arrested, involving 22 kilograms of hashish, 500 grams of Speed and 8 grams of methamphetamine , among other effects.

This last phase of the operation, which like all previous ones has been carried out within the previous proceedings of the Court of Instruction Number Eight of Murcia, has dismantled an offshoot of the organization focused on the distribution of synthetic drugs in various points in the Region of Murcia.

Once reviewed and verified all data resulting from previous operating and after conducting a thorough investigation into the activities of the now arrested last past the current 15 days was carried out the arrest of these nine people and record of the four houses that the group had been using in the activities of storage and traffic.

In such buildings, two of which were located in Murcia and Alicante other two were operated the following effects:

1,500 grams of speed

200 capsules of ecstasy.

800 gr.

substance for adulteration and mixing of the drug.

Several boats and powders and capsules of steroids.

230 gr.

liquid ecstasy.

230 gr.

of hashish.

25 bags of cocaine.

20 gr.

of marijuana.

11,000 euros and 1,370 Moroccan dirhams in cash.

A money counting machine, a precision scale, useful for handling effects of the drug, three computers and documents relating to the crimes under investigation.

The detainees, all seniors and Spanish nationality, became available to the examining magistrate in Murcia Guard duties last October 18, 2010.
