Murcia to reference the competition of young musicians and the only multidisciplinary in Spain.
The auditorium of the Conservatory of Music and the Cathedral will host from 21 to 24 October, the 74th edition of the young performers permanent Jeunesses Musicales of Spain, which has held 31 consecutive years.
This event has great importance as it has provided a platform for projecting young performers as the Casals Quartet, Isabel Rey, Marisa Martins, Joan Enric Lluna, Claudi Arimany, Ricardo Casero, Maria Esther Guzman, Josep Vicent, Iñaki Alberdi, Asier Polo Eva León, among others.
This competition, in which some of the instruments of the orchestra, two-year cycle is divided into two calls each year without permanent seat as each stage is held in different cities.
Murcia will host the second phase of 2010-2011, with the participation of musicians under 26 years of piano, harpsichord, organ and accordion.
The winners will participate in a tour of Spain and Europe and recorded an album in the series 'Young Performers'
In addition to the semifinals and finals of this competition, held for the first time in the region, has also organized an inaugural concert by Silvia Márquez (key) and Gorka Hermosa (accordion) and a closing with Clara Cernat (violin ) and Thierry Huillet (piano)
The venues of the competition and concerts are the Conservatory of Music, the Cultural Hall of Cajamurcia, Regional Auditorium and the Cathedral.
All these activities are open to the public and free.
