López committed to integrating the Garden in the city through sustainable entrepreneurship (15/10/2010)

The PSOE candidate for Mayor of Murcia, Pedro López, commitment to implement economic initiatives that serve to highlight the value of Huerta de Murcia.

For Lopez, the future of the Garden has to be understood not only from a particular viewpoint, but we must try to reconcile private interests with the public interest.

"The Orchard is not only the owners of each parcel, but that is the heritage of all Murcia because it is our greatest symbol of identity."

In this sense, the socialist candidate believes that "we must integrate nature into the city and see the Garden as an opportunity to develop the values of orchard culture but adapted to the XXI century."

Thus, Lopez said that the Socialist Party is largely consistent with the conclusions of the European Seminar held in Murcia NATURBA and advances that a significant portion of the PSOE's electoral program shall be designed to raise formulas related to the concept of productive gardens.
