The hip hop comes in college (13/10/2010)

"Hip hop culture at the university" is the name of the conference to be held at the University of Murcia on 14 and 15 October to coincide with the Home 2010.

Hip hop is a cultural and artistic movement born in neighborhoods like New Yorkers or Brooklin Bronk in the late 60's through street parties.

It combines music like rap, dance (breakdance) and painting in the form of graffiti.

The conference will begin Thursday 14 to 17 hours, at the Faculty of Law, where JAM Albarracín moderate a panel discussion with the intention to unlock "What is hip hop."

Below is the film "Beat Street" and, finally, Francisco Reyes will present his book "Rap. 25 years of rhymes" to then deliver a lecture on "The graffiti: a language of expression and communication."

This first day will end in the garden of the Merced campus with a performance at 21 hours of dance Beak.

On Friday, 15 will be offered the screening of the film "Style Wars" in the law school and a performance Ckone groups, Skp, Street Museum and Art Collective Lobordo in the Municipal Center Ship in Bacons Bridge, which will conclude the conference to 24 hours with the announcement of the winner of "Stickers."

The activities are organized by the Vice President for University Extension, University of Murcia.
