The City Council promotes the rehabilitation of the parish of Christ the King and Dolores (06/10/2010)

The Governing Board has approved grant aid of 9,000 euros to the Bishop of Cartagena to undertake the restoration and rehabilitation in the Parish of Christ the King and of Sorrows

Thus, in the parish of Dolores has undertaken a full refurbishment ornamental, sanitary and electrical installation.

Now, the work consists in the placement of walls, columns and moldings, tiled temple, placing painted baseboards and ceilings and walls.

In the Parish of Christ the King is going to fix the whole floor of the temple.

The Parish of Sorrows was built in 1653 and has not since been amended in any way, while Christ the King Parish dates from 1959.
