The painter Pedro Cano, who is also honorary doctorate from the University of Murcia, is one of the participants in the events organized by the Department of Art History at this institution as an opening course to be held tomorrow, 6, in the Chamber of the Faculty of Arts.
Cano speak on a panel that will analyze the role of artist and art historian today, which will commence at 18:30 hours and in which also participate Sonia Navarro, artist, and teachers María del Carmen Sánchez-Rojas and Joaquín Cánovas.
The program also includes the conference Salvadora María Nicolás Gómez, University of Murcia, offered at 9:50 am on "Panorama of the twentieth century architecture in Murcia until the Restoration" and the act Francisco Javier Perez, University of Valencia, about modernism.
For his part, Nicolás Martínez María del Mar, Almería University, will speak at 13:00 on Mariano Fortuny.
