An exhibition on the common dolphin attempt to report the dangers of this sort (04/10/2010)

The common dolphin population, worldwide, one of the most abundant species in tropical seas, subtropical and warm.

However, in the Mediterranean has suffered and is suffering a sharp decline due to pollution, accidental capture in nets or drift arrastrre and decreased food resources due to overfishing.

The exhibition is held at the Aquarium of the University of Murcia, will present the characteristics and status of this species in the field of training and promotion campaign for the common dolphin conservation and management of marine protected areas, coordinated by the Hall of Ocean University of Malaga.

The exhibition includes multimedia material for the reproduction of models from different species of dolphin living in the Mediterranean.

The exhibition, which will be available to the public until October 13th.

That day will be a lecture in which discussed various aspects of the campaign.
