The Spanish Ballet of Murcia, sisters Rubio, hold their XXV anniversary (01/10/2010)

The Spanish Ballet of Murcia is 25 years old and do it in a gala at the Auditorium and Congress Center Victor Villegas will serve to open the dance season.

The morning show will be October 2 at 20:00.

Tickets for the Company of Carmen and Matilde Rubio cost between 20 and 25 Euros.

The company celebrates a quarter century that has traveled the world, from Cuba to China, through France, Greece and Portugal, with programs of flamenco and Spanish dance culture that have led and the name of the region on five continents .

To celebrate this birthday so special Ballet will offer a program that shows a journey through the most emblematic choreography company over the years with guest artists who took part in them.

May see some movement of ballets that have special significance in the career of it, as "Penelope Ballet Flamenco," "The Jealous" or "Poker Flamenco", among others.

For this occasion, besides all the dancers of the Company, will accompany some dancers and professionals who have had a relationship with the Company, or because they have participated as guests in their own entertainment or because they have shared the stage with them in international galas.

These artists have had great success in his long career in different national companies.

Now serving his stage in these companies are, alone, stars of Dance, such as Francisco Velasco, principal dancer of the National Ballet of Spain, Eva López Crevillent, prima ballerina of the National Classical Ballet, Romel Frometa, principal dancer of Ballet Nacional de Cuba , and Francis Nuñez, soloist of the National Ballet of Spain.

In his career, the Company Carmen and Matilde Rubio has made his art in the majority of Spanish opera and successful participation in numerous international festivals and events, and since its inception a stable company and private, with a continued path that guarantees its great success.

He has traveled several scenarios: Teatro Albéniz, Vaguada Theatre and Teatro Lope de Vega de Madrid, Teatro Calderón de Valladolid, Valencia Olympia Theatre, Teatro Principal de Castellón, Teatro Arriaga de Bilbao, Teatro de El Escorial, Auditorio de Vigo, Festival San Javier International, Interflamenco Contest of La Union summit CAM and Flemish Flemish Competition Cajamurcia Murcia, Teatro Madrid, XVII International Festival of Music and Dance in Segovia, Teatro Ibérico Lisbon International Centre Grasse (France) ...

In 2000, he created the Gala Opening of the Pavilion of Spain at the Hannover Expo, acting then the Closing Ceremony of the XVII International Festival of Havana in the Teatro Mella and Teatro García Lorca.

In 2001 he directed the opening ceremony of the VI Youth Olympic Days European premiere at the Auditorium of Murcia's new show The Dark Side of the Mediterranean and A time of fire, choreographed by Matilde Rubio, with whom he participates in the Festival XXVI International Music and Dance in Segovia, International Centre Grasse (France), Festival of Benicassim, Arian Theatre (Bilbao), Teatro Calderón (Valladolid), Benidorm Palace (Alicante), Olympia Theatre (Valencia) ...

among others.

In October 2003, Penelope premiere at the Auditorium "Victor Villegas" (Semana Grande de CajaMurcia) with critical acclaim and public and showing the show at festivals like the Festival Flamenco de Jerez (Villamarta Theatre), Festival Flamenco Summit CAM, Festival Las Extravadanses in Castres (France), Chivas Dance Festival (Teatro Lope de Vega, Madrid), Festival of Theater of the Sea (Cartagena), XIX International Festival of Havana (Cuba) Teatro Souto (Matanzas) and Theater Mella (Havana), Fall Festival Megaron Concert Hall in Thessaloniki (Greece) ...

In 2005 presented in the Regional Auditorium, a new show, The Jealous Cervantes, highlighting the presence of Christopher Gabarrón in stage design, with choreography by Javier Latorre and Matilde Rubio and Carlos Piñana music.

The original idea was adapted version of Antonio Parra, script advice César Oliva, vestuariom design Matilde Rubio and José Zurita performing "Pepón", coordination and technical direction of the show it was up to Antonio Gonzálvez.

Released last year, also in the Regional Auditorium, Poker Flamenco, choreographed by José Antonio Carlos Piñana music and scenery painter Ángel Haro.

In January this year he began his fourth tour of China acting along almost a month in major cities including Beijing, Tianjin, Suzhen, Guangzhou, and Shanghai Shangshad being, notably his performance at the Oriental Arts Center.

More recently the company has performed at the Festival Flamenco Summit "of CAM in Belluga Festival at the XII Festival of Dance and Music in Ramallah in Palestine and the International Dance Gala in San Lorenzo del Escorial.

After the celebration of its twenty-fifth anniversary Murcia, the company travels to Sevilla on 10 October to submit their Poker Flamenco at the gala organized by UNESCO in the Teatro de la Maestranza.

The Spanish Ballet of Murcia is the company agreed with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Region of Murcia and a member of the "Murcia scene."
