The Plenum of the City of Murcia has unanimously approved this morning a joint motion to instruct the Planning Department to study the modification of zoning and municipal ordinances to provide for the provision of a bicycle parking space, and electric vehicles, on the ground floor or basement of new residential buildings, to the extent, dimensions and characteristics as determined by the Municipal Technical Services.
Plenary also adopted a motion urging the Government of Spain to amend its employment policies, so as to encourage the creation of new jobs, and to halt the job losses affecting so many Spanish families.
Team PP government has approved the alternative motion by Councilwoman Employment, Civil Protection and Development Cooperation, Beatriz Hontoria, which has received votes against PSOE and IU.
