The UCAM created the School of Nursing (27/09/2010)

UCAM has arisen between the innovations in the academic year 2010-2011, the creation of the new School of Nursing, segregated from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Physical Activity and Sport.

The Dean of Nursing, Paloma Echevarría, stresses the importance of the creation of this body for the Catholic University teachers and society in general.

Echevarría states that "School helps new prestige as the nursing discipline, which has always served the society in various fields like hospital care, health education, geriatrics, health care or prison system.
