The University of Murcia on Friday Night of the Researchers (21/09/2010)

The University of Murcia will be held on Friday, September 24, the programmed events in "The Researchers' Night", an initiative that is held simultaneously in 30 countries and more than 150 European cities to popularize science among society .

The Vice Chancellor for Research, Juan María Vázquez, and the Seneca Foundation director, Antonio González, presented at the Museum of the University of Murcia activities designed to bring the public the most fun and playful side of researchers.

Murcia educational institution for the third consecutive year participating in this event, that also involved the Spanish universities of Girona, Burgos, Las Palmas, Santiago de Compostela and Oviedo.

Between 18:00 hours and 22:00 hours in the old artillery barracks researchers explain their work to the public and do in vivo experiments and workshops.

In addition, the various stands will address the scientific activity of research groups at the University of Murcia.
