An exhibition shows more than twenty large-format photographs of the limbs of these animals
The Department of Culture and Social Work at La Caixa bring the Museum of Science and Water Exposure 'legs.
Footprints of evolution ', where visitors can learn in detail the limbs of amphibians, reptiles, birds, insects and animals through magnificent photographs taken by renowned photographer Ingo Arndt.
There are more than twenty images, each with rich colors on a black background and taken from below, so that they receive all the details.
In the snapshots you can see the variety of shapes, colors and skins of the different legs.
The large-format photographs are accompanied by an evolutionary tree showing the evolution and adaptation of limbs in tetrapods.
The legs provide much information on habitat and habits of animals and, in particular, explain what their mode of locomotion.
The photographs are the result of three months of work by Ingo Arndt that traveled over 10,000 miles by several zoos and terrariums in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Namibia where captured about 5,400 images.
The exhibition will be open until October 29, Tuesday-Saturday, 14 hours and 17-20 hours, Sundays and holidays from 11 to 14 hours.
