Ten arrested for property crimes committed in Murcia during the weekend (13/09/2010)

These actions have helped to clarify eight offenses against property.

The Police Headquarters of Murcia, through its Provincial Brigade of Public Safety, has developed over the past weekend several operations aimed at preventing and responding to certain types of crimes against property have been settled with the result eight shares of such enlightened and the identification and arrest of a total of 10 persons for the commission of the facts.

Several of these crimes involve theft committed in a shopping center.

Among these is the arrest of three persons acting in concert to steal sports equipment and were immediately intercepted by the quick intervention of the police patrol responded to the request of the establishment, after they had stolen goods worth of 450 Euros in a sports shop a mall in Murcia.

Four people were arrested after checking their participation, either individually, in as many features similar thefts in which stolen goods reached values between 50 and 170 euros.

On another occasion the initial theft of various goods from a supermarket turned into a robbery to assault the offender to the security guard trying to prevent the commission of the act.

It so happens that the person responsible for this action, a man of 40 years of Spanish nationality, is credited with another robbery committed by similar procedure in the same establishment weeks earlier.

In two other cases, the arrests have occurred as a result of two separate robberies aborted thanks to the timely intervention of the members of the Provincial Public Security Brigade deployed in prevention and response capabilities.

Thus, in the evening on day 12 was carried out the arrest of a person who was subtracting construction equipment inside a van belonging to a company in this sector and having broken the windows of the vehicle.

The last of the detainees acquired this condition when he was caught forcing an arcade machine located in a quiet street in Murcia on Wednesday afternoon.
