Public Works projects to improve the road connecting El Palmar with Beniaján (04/09/2010)

The Ministry of Public Works and Planning, through the Directorate General of Highways, has sent out to tender the works to improve the road connecting El Palmar with Beniaján, the RM-302.

The performance will improve road safety on a route along which more than 2.5 million vehicles a year.

The Director of Roads, Jose Guijarro, noted that the intensity of traffic on this road is one of the highest in the region's road network, since it reaches the 7,000 vehicles a day. "

The work, which will take place from the junction of the Cábila until the beginning of the voyage of the Pool, next to the church of the people will directly benefit the residents of the South Coast of Murcia.

The projects funded by the regional executive consist of the paved road and renewal of signage.

RM-302 highway is a path of great importance in cross-communication in the municipality of Murcia and also channeling traffic to the regional highway Zeneta-San Javier, which shortens to 25 minutes to travel from the south of capital to the Mar Menor.
