Murcia unveils its first fruit orchard into a garden between Avenida Juan de Borbon and Churra Road (01/09/2010)

It occupies an area of 9,000 square meters within a green area of over 32,000 square meters

Murcia earns 32,000 square meters with the creation of a new green area between Avenida Juan de Borbon and Churra Road.

The uniqueness of this garden is that it includes an area of 9,000 square meters which recreates a garden area, designed with the collaboration of Huermur.

In this green area has created a grass meadow of 2,530 square meters and have planted 396 trees, in meadows and in alignment, 2,256 perennials and 629 shrubs.

As for furniture, has installed seven playground pavement surface on a soft (rubber) of 237.60 meters square.

This new garden features, in addition, 54 banks, fourteen mills and 82 streetlights.

Another innovation, characteristic of this green area is the installation of a channel that covers an area of 16 square meters.

Among the 396 trees planted 58 trees of paradise include (Melia azedarach), 50 blanquilla variety pear (Pyrus communis 'Blanquilla') and 40 jacaranda (Jacaranda mimosifolia).

You have planted: 4 hawthorn (Crataegus azarolus) 9 quince (Cydonia oblonga), 8 pomegranate (Punica granatum), 18 peach (Prunus persica), "Molly" and "Jerome", 8 nisperero Japan (Eriobotrya japonica) 11 pear (Pyrus communis) "Campucina" and "Buttery", 4 fig (Ficus carica), 14 pereteros (Pyrus cossonii) 2 date palm (Phoenix dactylifera), 28 orange (Citrus sinensis and Citrus aurantium), "Dulce" "Sanguenelli" and "Border" mandarin grafted, 6 lemon (Citrus limon), "Fine," a carob tree (Ceratonia siliqua) 4 apple (Malus communis), 8 olives (Olea europaea), "Cuquillo" and "Manzanilla" , 4 nispoleros (Mespilus germanica), a walnut (Juglans regia), 13 caquileros (Diospyros kaki), 20 plums (Prunus domestica) "Claudia" and "Donkey Egg," a laurel (Laurus nobilis), 2 jujube (Ziziphus jujuba ) 3 mulberry (Morus alba), 9 apricot (Prunus armeniaca) "Damascus", 12 hackberry (Celtis australis), 24 maple (Acer negundo), 24 Constantinople acacia (Albizia julibrissin) 7 braquiquitos (Brachychiton populneus) 4 Japanese privet (Ligustrum japonicum), 15 acacias of Japan (Sophora japonica), 7 yellow begonias (Tecoma stans), 28 fan palm (Washingtonia robusta) and 8 cypresses (Cupressus sempervirens).

These trees have a height ranging between 3.5 and 16 meters.

As for the shrubs, the garden has 54 units Abelian, 45, salvias, 52 eremofilas, 277 rose bushes, 82 of Durant, 19, laurels and 100 units of Chasteberry.

Have also been planted six species of perennials: 105 San Juan lilies (Hemerocallis flava), 44 Pennisetum rubrum, 50 Echium fastuosum, 43 Gaura lindheimeri, 87 and 21 pads Centaurea.

This area is complete with another set of shrubs and perennial plants formed by 402: lilo (Syringa vulgaris), mock orange (Philadelphus coronarius), hollyhock (Alcea rosea), morning glory night (Mirabilis jalapa), daisy (Leucanthemun maximum), Jerusalem artichoke (Helianthemum tuberosum) and Tradescantia (Tradescantia pallida 'Purpurea').

Finally, it has created a zone of shrubs and fragrant ground cover that has 29 units of mint, 220 hybrid gazanias, 80 mint, 1,431 of alfalfa and 80 of peppermint.

In this garden will be developed during the course of early childhood education activities for children and young people understand the different varieties of fruit
