More than 38,000 people enjoy cultural activities in July and August (26/08/2010)

The City Council has organized through various councils, many cultural activities during the summer months for all tastes and ages, from children's films in Space Río_Caballerizas Mills, to opera to see Ramón Gaya Museum, through concerts, photography workshops, introduction to archaeological or environmental awareness in this International Year of Biodiversity.

Thus, the Festival Belluga followed 20,000 people, the Summer Festival in Murcia at least 10,000 people and activities of 'A Summer Museum "1,200 people have participated, excluding organized tours daily at the City Museum .

In the various schools and summer programs for the departments of Education, Social Services, Social Welfare and Popular Culture 7,000 people around the county, both in urban as in rural districts have participated in various cultural activities are organized as dance, music, arts or science.

To this is added the nine free guided tours of the Murcia Classic, organized by the Department of Tourism and have been held every Saturday in July and August.

Also, have opened three exhibitions this summer: 'Other landscapes in the work of Ramón Gaya' and 'The painter's palette' of Esteban Linares, Ramón Gaya Museum and the exhibition of ethnographic photography contest Mills Area Rio Stables.

All have been open during these months, in addition to others such as 'With A astronomer', at the Museum of Science, 'Territories 2007-2010' in Space Molinos del Rio Stables and 'Seven sites, seven painters' in Museum of the City.
