The Youth Center will become a benchmark for the municipality.
The Councillor for Education and Youth, María Dolores Sánchez, visited this morning the works accompanied by technicians in charge of the project.
The new Youth Center is being built between the streets of Athens and the Las Palmeras (Distilleries back to Bernal).
Has 1,200 square meters in a plant.
Have an exhibition hall, multipurpose room and storage, dressing rooms, offices, computer room, hotel associations, reading room, toilets and reception area.
In addition, at the entrance of the building is a large covered patio that will be used for multiple activities.
The building will house a climbing wall.
The Youth Centre is fully accessible for people with reduced mobility.
The project has been carried out by Urbamusa.
Work began in May and end in December. At present we are working on the foundation.
The Centre is open to the public in 2011.
The investment in this book is one million euros, financed by the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability.
This new Municipal Center adds to the supply of 585 meters square Youth Space in Santa Maria de Gracia, La Nave, in Bacons Bridge, and the Youth Access Centre being built at Juan de Borbón.
