Murcia City Council through the Local Agency for Energy and Climate Change (ALEM), has conducted a total of 18 solar thermal inspections of the municipality, within the project Prost.

Specifically, the inspections have been conducted in hospital facilities, schools, hotels and private homes located in the municipality of Murcia, particularly in Ciudad Murcia, Espinardo, La Albatalía, La Alberca, Los Garres, Bacons Bridge, San Jose Sangonera la Vega or the Green.

In the inspection program involving the Environmental Protection Services, European Programmes and the Department of Environment and Urban Quality that Adela Martinez-Cache runs through ALEM.

During inspections, a technician ALEM evaluated the technical aspects of design and the orientation angles, circuit efficiency, solar energy supply, losses and efficiency of the plant and the taking of photographs representative.

The purpose of the inspections was to ensure that solar thermal installations located in the municipality of Murcia, especially those that were subsidized by the city of Murcia (over 200 in recent years), work correctly and confirm that they are being properly maintained .
