The Social Audit reveals that the residents of El Ranero demand a public kindergarten and accelerate the expansion of the Colegio Juan XXIII (30/07/2010)

Social Audit Municipal Executive Committee has developed in the Ranero reveals that the management of the Popular Party in his fifteen years of municipal government has been towed from the real needs of the residents of neighborhoods and districts of Murcia.

The Secretary General of the PSOE in Murcia, Pedro López, today presented with the Municipal Socialist Party spokesman, María José Alarcón, the Socialist spokesman in the Northern District Municipal Board, Jesús Ortuño, and the secretary general of the Association of District Doors Castilla, José Joaquín García Medina the results of Social Audit has been made in the Ranero to know the problems of the residents and associations.

Jesus Ortuno Audit considers that it is a reflection of the reality of the Rane, a neighborhood with nearly 4,000 inhabitants, with a large young population and that the City needs answers to their demands.

The principal, says, Ortuño is the construction of a public nursery school because there are only two private.

Similarly, the citizen survey conducted by the PSOE demonstrates the need to expedite the extension as soon as the Public School John XXIII repeatedly promised by the City Council and the Ministry of Education and under the grounds of the old football field.

Socialist spokesman stated that the existing schools John XXIII and the Kingdom of Murcia have been small and in the last years have had to refer students with no space to other centers.

Improvements to public transport

In the section on mobility, residents have taken to the PSOE the need to increase the frequency of step with the lines connecting the Ranero with the center (Ray 14, trunk lines 29 and 39) and denounce the continuing delays.

To complete the package of proposals to improve mobility in the Rane, the PSOE proposes the creation of a perimeter bike path along the main streets of the neighborhood.

Finally, Jesus Ortuno demand the City Council and the North District Council, to put in place measures to enhance the lives of young people in this region of Murcia because in the various meetings with groups and associations of the Ranero have received numerous complaints about activity deficit oriented youth.

Moreover, the general secretary of the Association of District Gates Castilla, José Joaquín García Medina recalled that all he has done in the past two years in the Rane has been through the Local Investment Fund (Plan E) with an investment of over EUR 1,700,000 EUR.

So in 2009, remodeled several sidewalks and streets of the neighborhoods surrounding Rane, while this year thanks to Plan E will fit a room for a social center.
