Murcia will host on September 6 and Stage 7 of Tour of Spain, which is now celebrating its LXV edition which will take place on 2 and 3 September.
The Deputy Mayor of Sports, Miguel Cascales, next to the Director General of Unipublic, Javier Guillén, presented this morning the stages that will host Murcia, with target and exit at Avenida Miguel Indurain, and will have the following route:
- Stage 6 (Sept. 2): Caravaca de la Cruz, Murcia
- 7th Stage (September 3): Murcia-Orihuela.
In order to advertise and promote the image outside the region of Murcia, Murcia City Council has invested in the organization of these two stages at around 129,000 euros, an investment that will generate revenues of around 500,000 euros in accommodation, catering, purchasing, production ...
The organization will mobilize more than 2,000 people, including judges, doctors, drivers, sponsors, press, hostesses, police, equipment, consultants, etc.
According to estimates by the organization, more than 20,000 people will gather near the goal and output, both located on Avenida Miguel Indurain of Murcia.
