The City offers eleven courses to 157 students formed to find a job (23/07/2010)

The Department of Employment, headed Beatriz Hontoria, launches its range of training courses for Employment, with 157 seats.

These are studies designed to improve the professional skills of students who engage in practices and can be incorporated into the working world.

The City developed these courses by a grant from the Regional Employment Service and Training and part of the program of training for employment 2010.

The courses provided are:

-Pintor, 440 hours.

-Electrical Building, 870 hours.

-Plumbing, 430 hours.

-Conditioning installer, 500 hours.

Plater-painter-vehicle, 750 hours.

"Cabinetmaker, 640 hours.

Technical-renewable energy systems, 380 hours.

Mantenedero-repairing-building, 530 hours.

Waiter in restaurant-bar, 820 hours.

Employee-customer information 225 hours.

-Sound Technician, 665 hours.

Placement of prefabricated, lightweight, 250 hours.

All courses are held at the Centre for Training and Employment Initiatives of El Palmar, except the sound engineer, held in La Nave, Bacons Bridge.

The courses begin in September and between 15 and 10 places per course.

To register you must go to the Center of Training and Employment Initiatives of El Palmar, or call 968884338.

These training courses are for people aged between 16 and 65.

For each course there will be a screening test.

Students receive a total of 6,250 hours of training.

In addition, six students from each course conducted practices, days 7 hours daily.

The Department of Employment program complements the training activities related to labor issues, legislative, social skills, organizational, health and hygiene, professional skills, and preparation are going to apply for professional licenses or installer.

Participating students have to transport aid and assistance (9 euros per day for students who belong to groups at risk of social exclusion).

Internships are also paid.

The Autonomous Community supports this project with 679,430 euros.
