UI + Councillor LV Herguedas Esther, said today that the absence of citizen proposals in the Suggestions and Complaints Commission council is due to the "ineffectiveness" of this body "and not the smooth operation of municipal services."
Herguedas has indicated that the said Commission, dedicated to recording complaints of citizens regarding the operation of the council, has "too many obstacles to be considered democratic activity" that "seems to have done not to be used."
In his view, this is an instance "no specific regulation that can go after visiting municipal services if they have not satisfactorily resolved, which makes it seen as an unnecessary step and that the neighbors prefer to go to the judicial process. "
He has also stated that "ignorance is their existence, since it is not advertised anywhere nor communicated to people who claim to a municipal service be able to go to this committee if they disagree with it."
