The Governing Board of the City Council has provisionally awarded the call for subsidies to promote grassroots sport in the municipality.

This call is for clubs, sports associations and federations, and the total amount of the grant is 63,800 euros.

This is sports entities to be responsible for initiating sports programs (school sports), equipment maintenance in federated competitions and competitions, sports events and events of interest.

The Sports Council has reviewed the projects that are specifically sports activities in villages of Murcia, the involvement of disadvantaged young people with fewer opportunities, number of beneficiaries, used municipal facilities, sports technical employees, participation in school sport activities and absence or lack of similar activities, interest of the activity, benefits to the population of the municipality and projects to expand social and recreational impact.
