The Board of Governors approved this morning by the Vocational Training program for the next academic year 2010-2011.
The Initial Vocational Training Programs are aimed at young people aged 16 to 20 who have not obtained a Certificate in Secondary Education in order to facilitate their employment.
Since 1993 these courses were taught in more than 149 job profiles to 2039 students.
Also, it has also given its approval to the request for a grant to the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment for the development of the qualification program.
The amount to apply is of 616,000 euros.
Professional profiles that will work in the eleven training programs are:
- Auxiliary electrical systems and communications.
- Auxiliary welding and metal construction and engineered plastics.
- Services kitchen staff.
Services - hairdressing assistant.
- Auxiliary Services aesthetics.
- Computer Services subsidiary.
- Plumbing, HVAC operations.
- Auxiliary Vehicle Maintenance.
