Sánchez estimates that the students will begin to appreciate and enjoy the pleasure of creating new knowledge and contribute their "grannito de arena" to improve our quality of life.

The opening ceremony, which will begin at 9:30 am, will be chaired by the rector of the UMU, José Lujan, and the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Adela Martínez-Cachá Martínez.

After the opening, the professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and coordinator of the Unit of Scientific Culture of the UMU, José Manuel López Nicolás, creator of the blog Scientia, will give the talk 'What is the true meaning of the research?'.

Then, oral communications and the presentation of posters will be developed, which are the result of research carried out by the participants in their educational centers, and which will cover all knowledge branches: science and technology, social sciences and humanities, and arts.

With this activity, "we want to encourage that in addition to the girls and boys who visit us have their first contact with research, discover with their projects new aspects of science and research that they did not know and understand that research, although it may seem like a independent field, is actually interdisciplinary ", explains the coordinator of Students of the UMU, Diego García Ayuso.

The convention will close with the closing conference given by the professors of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) and creators of UPCT-Bloopbusters José Luis Serrano, Enrique Castro, Juan Francisco Sánchez and José Víctor Rodríguez.

Finally, the organizing committee will award various prizes to the best papers presented in this edition, which will be evaluated by professors and researchers from the different areas of UMU and UPCT.

This activity is organized jointly by the University of Murcia, through the Office of the Vice-Rector for Students, and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Autonomous Community.
