"We have excellent emergency services, trained and put to the test on the occasion of the great emergencies that we have suffered, such as floods, fires or earthquakes, but there is always room for improvement and space to perfect coordination among all the intervening personnel," he said. .

In the different scenarios of the exercise to be developed in the municipality of Murcia, 176 employees dependent on the City Council will attend to attend 50 incidents, including collapses of buildings with possible victims, eviction from educational centers, damage to the electricity and water supply and damage to roads and railway communications.

Among the incidents attended will highlight the intervention motivated by the simulated break of the Contraparada, which will create a supposed rise in the water level that will force the rescue of people who perform sport in the urban section of the river, between the Manterola footbridge and the Puente Nuevo bridge.

The event will take place at 1 pm and will require the intervention of Local Police, Murcia firefighters, Civil Protection, Red Cross or Lifesaving Federation.
